The McTeggart Irish Dancers

The McTeggart Irish Dancers are one of the most vibrant and renowned Irish dance academies in the country. Maureen McTeggart Hall, the founder and executive director of the school, has been training champion dancers for over 50 years. She is a Cork native who has been a pioneerto the Irish dancing world, bringing the first of such schools to the west coast in the 1950's. The Mcteggart dancers are trained by highly qualified and certificated (TCRG) instructors. These instructors have been champions themselves and some have danced professionally in shows such as Lord of the Dance. Many of their dancers have won regional, national, and international titles. Their eight performance companies make over 100 appearances throughout the year at public and private events, including the Denver St. Patrick's Day Parade, Cherry Creek Arts Festival, CHUN Capitol Hill People's Fair, and the Colorado Perorming Arts Festival. The McTeggart Irish Dancers currently have successful classes in six states. The school consists of dancers from the beginner level to the more experienced championship levels.
